The 1st Young Geotechnical Seminar in Kyushu

This seminar is organized by the Japanese Geotechnical Society [JGS] Kyushu branch. Planning and management are carried mainly by students of Kyushu University, Nagasaki University and Kagoshima University. The seminar aims at providing an English discussion panel for university students and young researchers working within the Geotechnical Engineering field to mutually discuss and share their research and future plans. In addition, it aims at facilitating the cultural exchange among the local and international participants.

1 Page abstract/Poster due to 7th December – 2018 (Friday)
Participation registration deadline 12th December – 2018 (Wednesday)
Oral presentation: 5 minutes presentation + 1 minute discussion
All presentations and posters should be in English

Oral presentation/poster The seminar seeks papers related to the geotechnical engineering,
participation: where registration should be done as follows:
• Send the title and authors of the manuscript/poster to the contact e-mail younggeotec@gmail.com
• Registration deadline (23th November – 2018)
1 page Abstract should be prepared by guidelines/sample. Secretary will send the form to presenters.
Submission: Authors should submit the MS-Word file directly to the Young Geotechnical Seminar secretary on the following email address
